Regular Classes (Included in Membership)

Yoga Well Being
This flagship class is based in the Hatha tradition. It is an adult class for all students who want a energizing but relaxing stretch and workout. Reduce tension, learn to relax, and learn new breathing techniques for energy and to correct respiratory weaknesses. Classes are specifically tailored to individuals within each class; therefore, no class is the same. All levels are welcome.

Beginner's Yoga   Instructors: Rebecca Alexander and Kori Tien Kinard
Understand the basic postures for good form. Learn about the philosophy of Yoga. Develop flexibility and strength.

Core Yoga   Instructor: Mary Ann Frye
Get strong and centered in this Core Yoga class. The physical focus will be on the center (the core) of the body to encourage strength, balance, and flexibility. A broader focus will be on using breath and movement to find a deep inner strength that supports us in everything we do.

Mysore (Ashtanga) Yoga  Instructor: Taylor Hunt
*Introductory 5 classes are required before students may use a regular membership. See asterisk below. Students who have already taken "Introduction to Ashtanga" series may use a regular membership or pass to register.
Mysore (Ashtanga) is appropriate for students who prefer athletic movements in their yoga practice. For new students, the first five sessions will offer more personalized and detailed instruction on proper alignment in postures, breath, locks (bandhas), and focus (drishti). This special instruction is to ensure that students know the basics of Ashtanga practice and are able to practice safely. After the first five sessions, new students may purchase a regular class pass to continue taking the Mysore class. Students who have already taken the Introduction to Ashtanga 5-class series may begin without the introductory fee. In this class, students will practice the primary series of Ashtanga yoga more independently - the instructor will be there to assist students in their practice.

*NEW MYSORE STUDENTS: Visit "Online Store" tab and select "Mysore/Ashtanga Classes" to purchase the introductory $75 series. This is required to begin taking Mysore classes: Click HERE
